Professionally, she has worked closely with diverse capital providers – Development Finance Institutions, Buy-side firms, Ultra High Networth Individuals, Family offices and Product Strategists focused on financial market development. Ariyike has experience championing investments, raising capital, contributing to the development of market segments and asset portfolios, leading large teams, coordinating strategic projects, re-positioning businesses and promoting new initiatives.

She is an advocate of equality and financial literacy and continues to support secondary school students across different regions to become better versions of themselves. In the UK, she worked with some educational institutions to facilitate the smooth running of paper-based and online exams for students. In Nigeria, she championed and developed a co-curricular program for 13 to 17 years focused on Leadership and Self-awareness skills from 2014 to 2020.

Ariyike is currently exploring the nuances of sustainable and responsible finance and its impact on investment capital mobilization and the financial services industry.

Prior to starting her doctoral, she was a Commonwealth scholar at Heriot-Watt University where she topped her class of MSc Quantitative Finance and Mathematics, graduating with distinction.

She is  an alumna of the premier mathematics institute for mathematically gifted African students, the African Institute for Mathematical Science (AIMS) South Africa, where she completed her first MSc degree in Mathematical Sciences in affiliation with the University of Cape Town South Africa.  She was among the selected mathematics students offered the MasterCard Scholarship to cover the full cost of her graduate education.

She graduated with a first class (honours) degree in Mathematics from Ekiti State University. During her undergraduate education, she participated in the National Mathematics Olympiad for Universities and emerged as the best student in the female category and won a silver medal  in the combined category from among the 70 high-achieving contestants.  This places her in the top 2% of Nigerian mathematics graduates.

She has worked as a member of the Finance Research Group at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences where she co-organized symposiums on the rudiments and evolvement of the application of mathematics to finance. While at Heriot-Watt University, she undertook her MSc dissertation with Genpact under the Scottish Financial Risk Academy (SFRA) where she worked on the Model Risk Challenges of the Fundamental Review of Trading Book (FRTB).
